About the Course
The four hour course is designed to provide continuing education credits to qualified individuals on the basics of cross connection control and backflow prevention. Topics of discussion will include:
- Introduction to Backflow Prevention
- Hazards of Backflow
- Laws and Responsibilities
- Fundamentals of Backflow
- Methods and Mechanisms for Preventing Backflow
- Testing and Maintenance
- Developing a Backflow Prevention Program
No examination will be given for this course.
CClass size is limited to 12 persons at our on-site location. Class sizes will vary at off-site locations.
Daily breaks are scheduled and light refreshments are available for the students.
Students must be present the entire course to receive a Certificate of Attendance. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF EACH STUDENT TO INSURE THAT THEIR CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE IS SUBMITTED TO THE APPROPRIATE AUTHORITY WITHIN THEIR AREA OF EXPERTISE.
