Cross Connection Control Surveys
Backflow Prevention Services, LLC offers cross connection control surveying services to commercial, industrial, and municipal clients. A cross connection control survey is a physical inspection of an existing facility to determine whether existing or potential cross connections are present. Louisiana state law requires that certain cross connections or potential cross connections be protected. During the survey, a facility is evaluated based on water uses throughout the facility. Backflow prevention assemblies present at the site are noted as well as identifying unprotected cross connections. Recommendations of appropriate backflow prevention devices are then made for all unprotected cross connections in accordance with the Louisiana State Plumbing Code.
